Born in Patna, Bihar, on March 4, 1988, at the age of 37 as of early 2026. Her art career is out of a rich musical heritage, which includes her being the granddaughter of the late Padmasri Pandit Siyaram Tewar, i a great Dhrupad maestro.
Education was a top priority for her. From Patna Women’s College,ge she graduated in Advertising and Marketing. Her entry into the industry was a fluke; she auditioned for Indian Idol 4 in 2009, which she did not win, but which saw her screen presence noted by producers, which in turn led to her debut in Chand Chupa Badal Mein (2010).

For several years, she was in a public relationship with actor Neil Bhat, with whom she met while working on Ramayan. The pair were together for almost four year andso it was also expected that they would get married, but they broke up in 2016 due to personal issues. While Neil went on to marry actress Aishwarya Sharma, Neha has kept the details of her subsequent dating life private, instead putting all her focus on her career in theater and web series.
