Also, we have a list of new Pakistani dramas this year that we have personally chosen for their individual appeal and people’s appeal.
Dil Wali Gali Mein

Prem in March 2025 on Hum TV, we were introduced to Dil Wali Gali, which saw Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail in the lead. In the background of old Lahore’s setting, the story plays out, which is of love, misunderstandings and social pressure. The drama, which is heavy on emotion and very true to its setting, stands out in the early 2025 release season.
My Dear Cinderella
Also, as a part of Hum TV’s Ramzan special collection, we bring to you My Dear Cinderella, which stars Zara Peerzada and Khaqan Shahnawaz. This light romantic comedy follows the story of a spirited young woman as she tries to navigate love, dreams and family expectations. The humour and the on-screen chemistry between the leads have been very well received by the audience this festive season.
Naqaab
Aired on ARY Digital, Naqaab is a suspense-filled mystery which stars Ali Ansari and Ghana Ali. The story revolves around secrets, concealed identities and the cost of truth. With its sharp storytelling and thrilling pace, the show has quickly become a hit with viewers who are fans of edge-of-the-seat drama.
Ishq Di Chashni

Starring in the film are Khushhal Khan and Sehar Khan as the lead characters, which also includes the love story of Ishq Di Chashni that, at the same time, weaves in elements of family drama. We see the story play out in a very cultural and rural setting, which in turn also looks at issues of sacrifice, loyalty, and how society plays a role in our lives. Also adding to the film’s appeal is its very dynamic visual style.
Shair
Directed by Aehsun Talish and written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, Shair Danish Taimoor, and Sarah Khan play their roles in an intense and passionate love story. This series is known for its poetic language and in-depth portrayal of emotion, which makes it the drama of the year.
Humraaz
In the case of Humraaz, which sees Ayeza Khan and Feroze Khan in lead roles, we have a crime thriller put forth by Farooq Rind. The drama plays out a story of betrayal, ambition and power in the high-stakes business setting. Also, it is the strong plot and the star power which is creating great buzz.
Case No. 9
In Case No. 9, we are introduced to Saba Qamar, Faysal Quraishi and Junaid Khan as the lead characters who are at the centre of a very complex criminal case. This drama presents a mix of psycho analytical and legal thriller elements that will have the audience on the edge of their seats with unexpected turns in the story.
Daiyan
Daiyan reports back on Mehwish Hayat’s return to TV, which is also the debut of Ahsan Khan and Hira Mani. This is a supernatural thriller which puts forth mystery, romance, and gothic suspense, which will appeal to fans of out-of-the-ordinary Pakistani drama.
Main Manto Nahi Hoon

In 2025, we see the release of Main Manto Nahi Hoon, which stars Humayun Saeed and Sajal Aly in a period piece that is a study in historical and cultural detail. With a literary touch to the writing, it looks at love, art, and the struggle of a creative individual in a restrictive environment.
Tere Bin Season 2
Tere Bin is back with Season 2, Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi return with the sequel. Fans are on the edge of their seats for this October release, which will see the central couple’s relationships heat up post the cliffhanger ending.
