Sridevi Kapoor: A little background on.
Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan was born in 1963. Sridevi is one of the most famous actresses in the history of Indian film. She started out as a child artist in South Indian cinema, which then grew into a dominant role in Bollywood with hits such as Chandni, Mr. India, Nagina, and English Vinglish. Although very much a star, Sridevi kept her personal life very private, particularly that of her family.
Srilatha Yanga: Sridevi’s younger sister.
Srilatha Yanga, who was Sridevi’s younger sister, is known for the bond which they shared that grew from their young age. From middle-class families they are from in Tiruchy’s suburb of Sivakasi, they grew up in a similar environment. As a father to them was Ayyapan Yanger, a lawyer, and as a mother to them, Rajeswari did what many do, which is focus on home life.
Relationship with Sridevi
Sridevi and Srilatha were very close till they were young. Srilatha went along with Sridevi to the film sets and was known to be her rock. That which we saw in the early 80s played out when Sridevi was between South Indian and Bollywood films.
However, with time, reports of a breakdown in the relationship between the sisters did begin to circulate. After the death of their parents, speculation that they had had a falling out increased. Though the exact issues at the root of their strained bond were never revealed by the press, it became clear when Srilatha took to the background at many of Sridevi’s public functions.
Current Status
In 2018, after Sridevi’s death, which was too soon, Srilatha stayed away from the media. But it is reported that she has maintained good relations with Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor, and her daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Srilatha is married to Sanjay Yanga and lives a private life; she stays away from the shine and glare of the entertainment industry.
Satish Yanger: Brother of Sridevi.
Satish Yanger, who is not as famous as other members of the Yanger family, is Sridevi’s stepbrother. He grew up in the first marriage of Sridevi’s father. Also, due to this fact, Satish and Sridevi did not have a very close or public relationship.
Relationship with Sridevi
There is a lack of public information on Satish Yanger and his association with Sridevi. While some reports point out that they did interact at times, what is certain is that they did not appear together in public or the media. Their relationship was a distant one, which may have been a result of issues within their families and different upbringings from their parents’ marriages.
Life Beyond Bollywood
Satish Yanger has lived a life far from the entertainment industry. His sister may be famous, but he has chosen to stay anonymous; also, very little is known of his private or professional life. He has not done any public interviews or made statements regarding Sridevi or his connection to the Kapoor family.
Final Thoughts
Sridevi Kapoor’s art lives on to influence many, but her private life is what still weaves us into a mystery. Her siblings, Srilatha Yanga and Satish Yanger, went into very different spheres away from the glare of the public. While Srilatha at one point was very much in Sridevi’s world, over the years that changed, and Satish maintained his distance.
Although they have different roles in the star’s life story, which includes fame, success, tragedy and family complications, both siblings are included.
