Satyajeet Jena is a gifted singer from Odisha and has often been considered a star. He was born on the 30th of August, 2004, in the district of Keonjhar, Odisha. As a child, he always had something unusual about him, and that was his interest in music, right from an early age. In the turn of events which shaped Satyajeet Jena’s life, it was his appearance in the reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs” which proved to be a game-changer. Before his national TV appearance, which brought him to the map, he had been in regional music contests in Odisha. It was his melodic voice and emotional rendering that caught the judges’ and audience’s attention. In 2016, he won second place in the Odisha version of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, which was on air on Sarthak TV. Also, his performance in Zee TV’s national-level singing competition is what made him a star across the country. His shows, which were filled with natural talent and that too a humbled stage presence, won over music experts as well as the audience, which in turn took to social media appreciating his work.
Rise as a YouTube Star
After moving from TV to digital platforms, which included YouTube, Satyajeet Jena saw great success. His YouTube channel, which was the outlet for this new material, did very well in a very short time. Fans by the millions tuned in to see his romances, cover versions and original material. One of his most played songs, “Chahunga Main Tujhe Hardam”, hit over half a billion views and went on to be a huge hit with the youth.
