Biography and Cadre History
Dharmendra Sharma is from the 2014 batch of IPS. He was first put into the Tripura Cadre, which he held until 201,6 when he was transferred into the Gujarat Cadre in front of marriage as per service rules.
His professional journey is that of a hard-working young officer who has taken on key roles very early in his career. Before getting into the field work, he gained experience in the complex field of crime investigation. He is known to bring a methodical and analytical approach to policing, which is the trend we see in officers from the recent batches.
Key Postings and Administrative Turbulence
Sharma served in Gujarat in several key positions in what is to which also included police units.
This issue at hand is of great importance, which includes state-level intelligence collection and resolution of large-scale, high-profile criminal cases. In his time in the CID, he worked with complex crime networks.
