Early Life & Education
Ajay was born and brought up in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, into a well-educated family. His father is an IAS officer. After completing his intermediate, he joined B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. However, during his college years, Ajay faced challenges with backlogs, which piled up and made it difficult for him to continue.
Determined to follow his passion, Ajay dropped out of college and shifted his focus to cinema. He moved to Hyderabad and later to Chennai, where he worked for over a year in the direction department. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out as planned.
He eventually rejoined college, completed his B.Tech degree, and even started a film club on campus, producing a short film with his friends and faculty. Despite his father recommending him to several directors, Ajay did not find much success in films. At one point, he even considered becoming a pilot and cleared written and physical tests, but his plans were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Career Journey
In 2020, during the lockdown, Ajay started his YouTube channel ‘Aye Jude’, where he began uploading videos on men’s fashion, grooming, and lifestyle. His unique approach, relatable personality, and consistent content quickly struck a chord with the youth.
Within a short period, Ajay’s channel gained massive popularity, crossing 1 million subscribers. In 2022, he expanded his brand by launching his own fashion label “Amigo by Aye Jude.”
