In a supportive environment which also included her brother Arman and sister Sonika, she grew up by the precepts which her parents Shiva Prasad and Amrita Subedi instilled in them.

Srijana began to date Bibek in 2018 which came after a great friendship and they tied the knot on February 26, 2020, after a long courtship. They had a very respectful relationship which saw them support each other’s dreams and also work together on social media content for TikTok and IG.
The War With Cancer and His Death.
In 2022 tragedy befell Bibek who was a PhD student at Physics and Astronomy at the University of Georgia at the time when he was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.We followed his journey through treatment which included many surgeries and also shared the raw emotions of hospital life.
During his chemo, Srijana cut off her hair which went viral on social media. She was also very private in her care of him fed him and offered out all the emotional support he had during that tough time. Also at home, the way she took care of him was beyond anything which could be asked of a friend. I also removed the “selfless’ label as it is not necessary for the story’s impact. Despite putting out so much for him, Bibek died on December 19, 2024, which left millions affected by our love. We put out videos of Srijana at his funeral, of us with him through the ritual, and of me breaking down in grief which also showed our courage and solidarity amid great heartache.
