Hina Khan has made a large mark for herself in the Indian entertainment industry, which she has transitioned from the home-based TV stage to that of a major player across many platforms. Known for her powerful stage presence, excellent fashion sense, and dedicated work ethic, her story is that of great growth and diversity.
Biography and Early Life
Born on October 2, 1987, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Hina Khan grew up in a middle-class family. She did her schooling in her hometown before she left for Delhi for higher education. Hina has a Master of Business Administration from the CCA School of Management in Gurgaon, which she obtained in 2009. It is also interesting to note that before she went into acting, Hina aspired to be a journalist and applied for air hostess training. But fate had different plans for her; an acting role came her way first.
Height and Age
As of July 2025, Hina Khan will turn 37. She is at a height of 5 feet 2 inches (157 cm), which she carries very gracefully and confidently in which she is often seen in her fashionable outfits.
Family Background
Hina Khan was from a Sunni Muslim background. Although she has kept the details of her immediate family private, it is known that her parents have two kids, including her. Her parents have been a source of support throughout her career, which she has not often gone into in great detail in public; rather, she maintained a very different life.
The Rise to Stardom: TV Career.
Hina Khan’s 2009 saw her break through into the big time when she got the lead role of Akshara Maheshwari Singhania in Star Plus’s very popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Her Akshara character made her a household name across India, which in turn secured her status as one of the most loved faces on Indian TV. For eight years, she was a part of the show, ow which also brought her several awards and accolades.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, which is what she did to put out her adventurous side, and which saw her finish as first runner-up. Al, so that year she got into the midst of controversy in Bigg Boss 11, which had a different set of rules, but
Hina put forth her strong personality, did great strategic play, and came out very strong, which ended with her again in the runner-up spot. In these forays into reality TV, Hina displayed a different facet of herself that went beyond what we see in her fictional roles.
In the wake of Bigg Boss, Hina took up the role of the classic vamp Komolika Chaubey Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Her bold performance received mixed reviews, but did solidified her place as an actress who is willing to try out different roles. Also in the picture was a large cameo of her in the hit supernatural series, Naagin 5.

Beyond T, Hina Khan has broadened her scope into films and web series. She made her mark in Bollywood with the film Hacked in 2020. Also in short films which she starred in are Smartphone, Unlock, and Wishlist, which she also produced along with the other of Wishlist. In the Lines which she also produced, she won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress – OTT in 2023. In 202,4, she was in the Punjabi film Shinda Shinda No Papa. Also in the digital spa,ce we see her in web series like Damaged 2 and Namacool.
Boyfriend, Husband, and Personal Life
Hina Khan has been in a long-termserious relationship with Rocky Jaiswal, whom she met on the production sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Their relationship started out as friends, but over time grew into a very strong connection.
In the spring of 202,5, Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal said I do in a very private ceremony, which came after 13 years of dating. The pair shared very romantic pictures from their secret wedding, which they said was also their registered marriage,e that they had created a world of love out of “two different elements. Rocky is known for his low-key approach; he is behind the scenes as a producer and also is a co-owner of their production home, Hiro’s Far Better Films (a mix of Hina and Rocky’s names) and a fashion line, Katch KClothing Their ride as a couple has been very public, also when Rocky supported Hina through her stage three breast cancer diagnosis in 2024, which included him shaving his head off in support during her chemo. Also, what brought their love story to the fore was their appearance on the reality show Pati Patni Aur Pang,a which did in fact put a light on how well they do as a unit.
Hina Khan’s story in the entertainment field is a result of her talent, hard work, and resilience, which in turn has made her an inspiration for many.
