Registration Date and Process
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is an important test for Indian postgraduate medical aspirants for postgraduate admissions to MD, MS, or PG Diploma courses. NEET PG is organized by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and is the gateway to Indian medical colleges.
As per the expected schedule, NEET PG 2025 will be held on June 15, 2025. Even though the official dates of registration have not been announced yet, they are expected to open in the second half of April 2025 and close by the second half of May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2025
In the case of NEET PG 2025 application, the following should be fulfilled by the applicants:
Educational Qualification:
– Holding an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate accepted under the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
Registration Certificate:
– Should possess a valid registration certificate (permanent or provisional) issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC).
Completion of Internship:
– Should have completed one year of internship as on or before the date intimated by NBEMS.

NEET PG 2025 Registration Procedure:
NEET PG 2025 registration is online on the NBEMS website. For application, follow the below steps:
1. Online Registration
– Visit the official NBEMS website.
– Click on “NEET PG 2025” and then choose “New Registration.”
– Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number and email ID.
– Select the password and security question.
– On submission, the user ID and password would have been sent via email and SMS.
2. Filling Application Form
– Logging in using the received credentials.
– Enter academic information, internship, and preferred test centers.
– Double-check all information carefully before going forward.
3. Uploading Compulsory Documents
– Upload a scan of recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
– Ensure the documents meet the specifications set in terms of size and format.
4. Payment of Application Fees
– Pay online application fee through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
– Tentative fee structure to be:
- General, OBC, EWS candidates: ₹3,500
- SC, ST, PwD candidates: ₹2,500
– A confirmation page would be produced after successful payment.
5. Printing the Confirmation Page
– The confirmation page may be downloaded and printed as a reference document for future use.
– Retain a copy of the application form and payment receipt for reference purposes.

Key Points to Remember
Correction Window:
– NBEMS generally keeps a correction window open after registration for giving an opportunity to the candidates for correcting errors made in their application forms.
Admit Card:
– To be released in the first week of June 2025. It needs to be downloaded and printed by the candidates from the official website.
Official Announcements:
– Stay updated with the latest information on the NEET PG website so as not to miss any important information.
