Adhirchi Arun, who also goes by the name Black Sheep Arun, was born on 13 December 1994 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He spent his formative years in Chennai, which also saw him through school, and after that, he attended AM Jain College. Arun showed early interest in performing arts, comedy and digital media. He began to put out content on YouTube associated with Black Sheep, a Tamil YouTube channel known for its humour and creative short videos. With a natural talent for acting and comedy, Arun made the transition from digital content to the Tamil film and television industry.

As of 2025, Adhirchi Arun will turn 31, which he is celebrating after 30 full years of growth in content creation, acting and reality TV, which began at his birth in 1994.

He was in Cooku, which had Comali Season 3, a very popular Tamil comedy cooking reality TV show which aired in 2022. Arun’s role was that of a “cook” teaming up with the comediennes, which he did in many episodes, and via his humour and stage presence won over the audiences.
Arun also got into Top Cooku Dupe Cooku and its second season, a show that puts fun spins on the styles of Cooku with Comali, which features participants’ cooking competitions and imitations with a comedic take.
