Ankita Pramod Prabhu Walawalkar also known as Kokanheartedgirl was born on 15 February 1995 in Devbag, Malvan, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. Brought up in the picturesque Konkan region she did her primary and secondary education at local schools, later which saw her through to get a degree in civil engineering from MITM College.

Family & Personal Struggles
Ankita is from a Hindu Konkan background and has two sisters, Prajakta and Rutuja Walawalkar. She had tough early years which included at the age of 16 leaving home to be with an older boyfriend. The relationship turned out to be abusive and for a while, she lived with mental abuse upon which she returned to her family to start over.
Career & Rise to Fame
Content Creator & Influencer: Ankita started on TikTok which at the time was very popular before she moved over to Instagram; there she put out content related to the Konkan region which went viral; today she has over 500K Instagram followers.
Resort Owner: She runs the Walawalkars Resort in Malvan which is a blend of tourism and Konkan heritage.
Corporate Experience: Before entering the field of full-time influence she had a time at HPCL which gave her a base in business and interpersonal skills.
Featured in Marathi music videos like Kase Visru (2023) and Tuch Morya (2023). Also in Tulsi Kallu (2023) and Shabd Roop (2023).
Continually reports on social events which in 2025 included Amba Mahotsav where she wore a white saree with mango designs.
Active in social advocacy which included bringing to light the Vaishnavi Hagawane case and bringing societal issues to the fore.

Marriage
Ankita tied the knot with music director Kunal Bhagat in October 2024 which she celebrated by posting a very affectionate photo of them with the caption “Sur Juhlele” (we found the perfect harmony).
They got married in February 2025 at a large traditional Konkan wedding with rangoli, mehendi, haldi, and sangeet and we dressed up the house Ankita wore a green choora and mundavalya.
